Albino Penis Envy mushrooms (APE) is one of many variations of the Psilocybe cubensis species — they’re actually a variation of a variation, being the almost-colorless version of the well-known Penis Envy (PE) shrooms.

Albino Penis Envy’s effects are quite strong. They’re said to produce a highly visual trip with euphoria and deep introspective thoughts. Other effects include:

  • Visual, auditory, and other sensory distortions of reality or hallucinations;
  • Temporal distortion;
  • A feeling of connection to their surroundings, people, and animals;
  • Spiritual experiences;
  • Abstract thinking;
  • Synesthesia (hearing colors and seeing sounds, for example);
  • Dilated pupils.

The effects take anywhere between 20 minutes and an hour to set in. A “normal” trip should last up to six hours but, again, this depends on many variables.
